Venue Hire

Tucked away in a quiet, rural setting between Ashbourne and Derby, Meynell Langley Hall is a beautiful, exclusive and lesser-known venue, perfect for getting away from it all with family, friends or colleagues for special occasions, training days or events. With open views over tranquil countryside, a woodland backdrop and wildflower lawns, The Hall is a welcoming and comfortable place for a variety of occasions. A marquee can be sited on the adjoining West Lawn for larger events, and the scenic surroundings will be enjoyed by all attendees.

Meynell Langley Hall is offered on a venue hire only basis, giving you freedom to select suppliers and services which appeal to your own preferences and values. With a strong commitment to environmental sustainability, Meynell Langley Hall is the perfect choice for individuals and organisations who want their event to have a positive impact for the future. The grounds and surrounding woodland are managed for wildlife, and the Hall has a biomass heating system and electricity from renewable energy sources.

By combining local, ethical suppliers, your event can be memorable for you and your guests as well as supporting people and the planet. Consider choosing natural and plastic-free decorations, signage, tableware etc. and low-carbon menus, especially from innovative vegan and vegetarian caterers. All these choices come with bags of individuality and style, and usually at very fair and competitive prices. Look out for Community Interest Companies (CICs) which offer outstanding services with social justice, fairtrade or sustainability at the core of what they do. You’ll find they’re great people to do business with, too!
